The 2010 20K: Day 6 - The Smell of Progress

This has been a good day for the 2010 20K :) I woke up this morning to find that a friend had donated $20.10 to the 2010 20K (since our sense of humour is AWESOME) through the PayPal link. Wow! Thanks! That's really encouraging - I hope that eventually I'll be able to do something more than a mere mention on the blog of such things :)

Inglorious Basterds seemed to be a waste of 2 1/2 hours to me - it had it's moments, but I left it with a feeling of whateverness. Since I wasn't all that engaged, though, I did manage to work on some sketches for one of the shirt ideas:

A pirate, viking, vampire and luchadore I sketched up for a shirt I call AWESOMESHIRT (name pending)!!!

Hung out with my friends Shar and Melanie for dinner - it was good times. They suggested that I could try my hand at DJing for the 2010 20K, with my wealth of music knowledge. Worry not - if you asked me to DJ your party, you wouldn't get wack music. Imagine a wedding where the DJ makes sure that the dance floor is always full! Awwww yeah, that's my kinda party :D

Another day down, another idea on the table! The Indie Writers' Deathmatch is around the corner - I see a Friday night all-nighter coming up around the bend to hit the deadline!

I'd also like to get into writing kids' books... but we'll delve into this later.
