More Money, More Problems
Source: Metro, Monday, November 23, 2009 page 28Just wanted to get an article up to point out that money isn't the objective of this challenge - it's more something needed to effect more definite change in my life. New opportunities, goals and ideas will hopefully come from it when it's done :) Google AdSense up and running - check Money Made from Google AdSense = $0.00 - well ain't this a *****. 29 people have viewed my pages with ads, but not one person clicked on 'em? Oh, man. It's so on. I consider this an act of passive war! I'll get people clicking on ads if it KILLS th... me. Right. Soon, my pretties. Soon the pennies will start rolling in! Received a Facebook message from my friend Megan today about another contest, I'll need to look into it for sure - it's way shorter than the Indie Writers' Deathmatch, but it's due in four days. Hm. This one's a postcard contest, where you need to write a story related to a postcard that you send with it. Still with the $20 entry fee, though! Writing contests, thou shalt be the bane of mine existence! The sources of extra income are dwindling, so that only means I've gotta move more aggressively. I'm glad that people are commenting all over the place - I need all the advice I can get. I've gotta start picking up Careers sections and finding focus groups, start posting up ads around town when the website's up - whatever comes to mind to make that money :S I'm certain I'll figure this out!
